The very common attitude, which we came accross in the last few months of our activity, is the lowest and very negative thorward home efficency, or plumbing improvement. Talking to a director of a different company, we have to agree that majority of client, nowaday are willing to call a plumber mainly for emergency. We provide FREE ESTIMATE and NO CALL OUT CHARGE. Out of our free services, where we provide informations, suggestions, and also how to remove causes of regular damages, we both agree that most of the customers, this days are just willing to call a plumber when emergencies arise, and not willing to evaluate the job for what it is, but only for the price offer. This concept made us think if we should change our though for CUSOMER SATISFACTION, and offer provide cheap labour and poor quality works. The answer is NO !!!! We all agree that company reputation is hard to build, but very easy to destroy, and a change of philosofy in the way our business is run it will reinforce the customers negativity against plumbing company. I came across a customer that decide to use a "do everything builder" that was working in his property, and ask him to Power Flush the heating system. The job was definitly cheaper than the service provided by MA4 Plumbers, which include the pump hire, the labour, and most probably the chemicals. When i've ask him which chemichals were used, and if a pre-check of the system was done, he was unable to answer. I really doubt if the correct Power Flushing procedure were follow and if a certificate was given to the client. The customer was quiet happy on the fact that he spends less than what MA4 Plumbers was offering. it's a sign of the time which we are living. Lack of confidence and unwilling to invest for the future.
